This perfume... no words can really describe how much I love it. But here goes: the title alone says it all, the smell is vanilla-y musky sexy and I use it every day as does my mother. And while if you use too much it can be a little overpowering to you, it diffuses quickly and you get oh-so-many compliments. When I bought this, I was in search of a signature scent and boy did I find it. Just a couple sprays and I feel powerful and sexy and ready to take on the day (okay, that sounded really cheesy but it's the gospel truth!). The one "downside" I suppose is the price, the smaller bottle being about $69 and the larger being $70-something (I think $78, I'm not checking the prices right now) and of course when I first bought this a couple years ago at seventeen with only about $100 in my pocket I thought I was insane and almost returned it immediately. So I sold it to my mother who used it and I just was so hypnotized (pun only slightly intended) by it I started sneaking sprays of it and eventually knuckled under and bought my own, and I've never looked back. This perfume is fantastic and I can assure any not-so girly girl who's sick of the frilly and fruity scents will fall head-over-heels in love with this Poison, regardless of your financial status ;)

It has a sensual aroma of vanilla, sandalwood and amber that makes one think of warm fireplaces, and long,toasty nights keeping warm with someone special. I enjoy the lingering scent of the perfume, without it being overwhelming.

No other perfume compares to this. Hypnotic Poison is different than any other perfume on the market. I was surprised when I found this gem. Interesting that it's a Poison flanker when it smells so completely different from the original. Vanilla, musk, jasmine, bitter almond perfection.
