Comments: It works, two to three coats will do you. But let it dry! even though it looks dry give it the full 20 min to truly set. My favorite thing to do is put it over a medium red for a soft frosted look or over a fine glitter polish for a suede affect. It will chip because it is lacking that no chip ingredient that glossy top coats have. Not a flaw in design just a result of the matte effect. A couple days in add an extra coat as it does get a tad shiny as the week goes on. I'd say about a 4-5 day wear. I always get compliments when I matte out my nails, ultra chic! |

Comments: I love this stuff! I wanted to try the matte look, but I could never find the right shade. I tried this with Essie's nail polish in Mambo (335), and it looks great! Mambo matches my skintone perfectly, and adding the matte finish makes my nails blend in really well! It's fantastic. The only thing about it is that, just like all other matte polishes, the matte finish will not last as long as the usual glossy nail finish. Instead of one coat lasting a week, the matte finish might only last two days. You can just reapply the matte finish, and all is well. Still, it's worth noting that the two-day average is just a part of all matte finishes, for the most part. |
