Yes, this stuff is good. Bareminerals Matte foundation , is my go-to foundation. It does provide a matte finish , and it is very buildable. The coverage is good for a foundation, but not for a concealer like it sometimes promotes. With a good moisturizer , this foundation will never look cakey. The only con about this is that for me its not very longlasting. I live in Arizona , & it is a very hot climate. By the end of a hot day , I don't really have the same coverage I put on in the day. But with a good primer and a touch up throughtout the day , I am fine. Keep in mind my skin is very oily.

Best coverage so far that I have found for my uneven, oily, acne-prone skin. With original Bare Minerals foundation, I get excellent coverage but it slides off my face within three hours. The matte lasts much longer, although not all day in my case.

Great go to makeup for quick coverage. Not for heavy use. Evening out I would a heavier makeup for staying power, but great for daytime use.

I use this daily but it doesn't stay very long. The drawback to bareMinerals is that it doesn't have a very good compact that you can take with you. I still like the product because it's the best coverage I've used for my skin type and it's not super heavy.

I love bareminerals, I never break out from their products. I really like the matte finish because I have an oil shine to my skin and the matte helps cover the skin and make my skin look flawless. The only con is the price [$] is a lot but I really can't find a better product.

I don't like to apply to much foundation to my skin, so I thought a powder would do great over my moisturizer. This works exactly the way I wanted it to. My only complain is that it doesn't stay on all day, but it stays on at least half the day.

I've been wanting to achieve the no makeup look for some time now. I'm no longer into the full face mask as I'm turning 40 this year and need some simplicity! So this, by no means, is a full coverage foundation. It does even out skin tone, but you will need a concealer to cover up redness and blemishes. Pretty easy to apply, but doesn't last long if you have really oily skin. Will look good for about 4 hours and then you would have to blot and/or powder. I use Milk of Magnesia to help with this and seems to work rather well.

I have oily skin and my mom originally got this for me because it is supposed to be Matte. Halfway through the school day, I am so oily I can feel it sitting on my skin. The makeup does move around and comes off with an oil sheet as well. It has good coverage, but the matte claim does not stick up to it's name. From now on, I will use this to cover spots, but I will use it only on those spots and under/over my Tarte powder.
