This is by far, the best eyeliner that I've tried. I love Tarte for using natural ingredients and for not testing on animals. This liner makes it easy to create a defined cat eye, edgy graphic liner or a chic classic look.

i use it with just a little eyeshadow and it makes my eyes POP. i use it just below the waterline and my upper lash lines for a semi-thin line with a small wing! i love it!!!!

Love this product but it didn't love me. The waterproof part of this makeup makes it hard to remove which caused the oil glands near the eyelashs to go crazy and resulted in badness so I cannot wear this product. If you have Rosacea it could cause problems so be careful. Make sure to get a good eye makeup remover. I started using baby shampoo and that works well.

I have tried all sorts of waterproof eye makeup to no avail. This eyeliner is freakishly water proof. I applied it at 7AM one morning and it was still on that night - and I'd gone for a run that afternoon. It doesn't really smudge, just slowly lightens. The brown color looks great.

I was looking for a dramatic look, but also something that wouldn't smudge or run. I work in the evenings and needed something that would last without having to reapply. Tarte is fantastic! It was also a great incentive to have the brush included!!! The brush is also perfect. This product was everything I hoped for.

This product is amazing! I was a little worriedat first because I had never tried to apply eyeliner with a brush... but my worry was gone the moment I applied it. It was so easy. And, this coming from a simple, simple girl. Applying makeup is definitely not my forte. The only real problem I noticed, which doesn't even really bug me, is that if you mess up its difficult to get off or fix. But, its so easy to apply that it isn't a problem because you rarely mess up. Yes, its pricey, but worth it if you wear lots of liner! Anyway LOVE, LOVE, LOVE is all I can say. I totally recommend. Can't wait to try out other tarte products!

I was really surprised by this liner. I thought it would be much more difficult to apply. Once it is on it is ON. Kind of a pro and con. If you mess up it is really difficult to fix without taking off all eye makeup. (At least for me, I am a novice.) Anyway, after I get my techniques down this will be perfect. I have already used it once and like I said it was a lot easier than anticipated.

I wear the black every day in more of a cat eye style. It lasts all day and is nice because it is waterproof. (I've even swam with it on before) I realy like that you get a new brush each time you get a new jar. I consider this eyeliner a lot softer than other brands like lancome. So overall I think this is a great product only negative is that because its waterproof you have to get a good makeup remover to get it off.

Have bought multiple items from this line due to allergic reactions to most other makeup. First product from Tarte that I am not 100% satisfied. The brush does not allow for very clean lines and I have to wash my face and then clean my eyes a second time to remove all the eyeliner (Pro - it is truly long-lasting). Over all its a good product but can use a tweak.

Because I wear contacts I find this product hard to use. It seems to somehow get into my eyes and makes my eyes blurry. It is very dark and dramatic also, and very hard to fix if you make a mistake doing your liner. It just does not want to come off.

I like to do a cat eye for night or certain looks, and tarte is GREAT for it - deep color, and goes on soft and creamy with no tugging or flaking. It does dry FAST so you don't have to worry about smears during wear, but do your blending and smudging as soon as it's applied, ladies! used sparingly I make a smudgy thin line for day, but it's also GREAT for stronger looks and lining false lashes - I use a tiny brush to just blend out from the edge of the strip, and it looks great! The pot can dry out if you're not careful with the lid - but that's true of any cream liner.

I thought the color was pretty in the jar; I didn't like it on my eyes because it came out MUCH darker than in the jar. Also, I used the brush that came with it and found it to not be that good. Overall, I think drug store eyeliner is superior and far cheaper.

I bought the amazon clay eyeliner because the makeup artist at Ulta was wearing it and she said it stayed on throughout the day. It does stay on throughout the day... It also streaks and smudges down your face and is impossible to wipe off. Liquid liner is better.
