Comments:

I am undecided on this product. It smells like simple windex or something. I bought it because when I turned on my straightener I was getting the funky smell of burnt on product and my hair was starting to obsorb that smell when I used my straightener. I had to use it twice before I thought it did any good. My straightener doesn't smell like burnt on product or fried hair.

Isn't this product supposed to remove the residue from your iron? Because as far as I can tell, using this just layers more grime on it.

Admittedly, my curling iron had seen better days-it worked great, but had taken it's share of hair spray while curling and had caked on gunk. I was so excited to find this remover. Unfortunately, the fumes made me cough like crazy. Adding insult to injury, it did not take the caked on hairspray off, but it did however, remove the finish on the curling iron from the unaffected areas, which then caught on my hair and would have fried it. So now, I have to buy a new iron all together-went from cleaning up one for [$] to $107-the cost for a new one. Ugh.
