When my flat iron died (gasp!) my hairstylist recommended BaByliss. It was expensive but I bought it anyway. I would totally buy it again. I love it. I don't use it on the hottest setting and it still works great. Due to the placement of the buttons sometimes I accidentally turn it off but it doesn't take long to heat up. I even recommended it to a girl looking at it in an Ulta store. If you have thick, frizzy, curly (read = nappy) hair then you should definitely invest in this.

I bought this product after reviewing it quite a bit on many different websites and hair forums. Upon walking into Ulta I asked a stylist which flat iron she preferred and she let me to the BabyLiss and that's when I made my choice. I didn't know anyone personally with one, nor do any stylists I know use one so basically besides reviews I took a chance and bought this products without knowing how it worked. I'm glad I did because I love it.

I used to swear by Chi and tried a nano babyliss a friend bought and now I will never use anything else. It takes half the time to straighten my hair!!! I have thick hair where I can blow dry semi straight or defuse with mouse to make curly. This adds shine although I still use a heat protectant with it.

I got this straightener at the recommendation of my hair stylist. I love it!! Even though he recommended it, i still did my research before going with this one and i'm so glad i did!! I did put as a con that it damages hair, but unfortunately all straighteners do. I have tried all kinds of expensive straighteners before and this is the only one that makes my hair stay straight all day long! Normally with other ones i'm lucky to get a few hours of straight hair. Don't hesitate to buy this straightener, i promise you won't regret it!

This straightener works great! It heats up quickly and has mulitiple settings. It smooths out my hair without leaving the ends frizzy. I would definitely recommend this product.

I had a Chi that I loved for only 2 years and it conked out on me. My stylist uses the Baybliss and suggested I buy it instead. I wanted the smaller size and would suggest that instead of what I bought because I think it will style easier if it was just one inch, but I was desperate for a flat iron. I have very thick curly hair and most flat irons, even some of the Chi's don't work, and this does and even shines my hair.
