The product has many pros, and only one con, it doesn't smell so great. But all nail polishes do, unless you get the scented type. It lasted for 1 week which was amazing because most only last one or two days. If you are looking for a great manicure from home I would try this!

This product, though overpriced, does what it says it will do. The product provides gel like shine and smooth coverage, and while I understand the "gel perfect" name is misleading, no where on the product does it state it will lasts two-three weeks like a gel manicure. It lasts as long as my typical manicure 6-9 days, with a couple of chips here and there. I appreciate that the chips are quick to fix, and. I do love the shine it provide out of the bottle but I add a top coat and it gives a super high shine! To get your manicure to last longer, start by always use a nail file with a very fine grit to slightly smooth the surface. Then wipe the residue off with white vinegar(each nail 3 times) After polishing your nails, follow with a high quality top coat.

This Gel nail product was easy to apply, dried quickly and best of all, lasted 7-10 days before starting to chip at edges- even without taking special care when doing dishes, cleaning, or doing other chores.

This is a great product! I have made a few tweaks to the instructions. When applying, you have to be very generous with the activator. I would recommend to a first time user of this product to apply to 2-3 nails at a time instead of a whole hand like the instructions say because the activator dries quickly and once it dries, that's when the color comes out all clumpy and messy. After you apply the color on your nail, wipe off the brush with a napkin before putting it back in the bottle before going on to the next nail. DO use the brush cleaner after each hand or foot! Another good thing about it was that it dried rock solid in less than 5 minutes! Oh and make sure your nails are completely dry before applying the second coat. Now, I have only used the product on my toenails, and it has not chipped or cracked and I am a waitress so I'm always on my feet. Only bad thing is, is that it is really smelly so I would suggest opening a window when applying. Have some acetone and Q-tips out just in case you get the activator on your skin, it will stick to your skin like superglue if not immediately cleaned. Bottom line is - this is a great product if you know how to use it! Don't be afraid of all of the bad reviews because I was, and I almost returned it. I am so glad I kept it!

I bought this because I saw it on Pinterest. I literally looked all over Ulta for it. This stuff is FABULOUS. It makes my nail polish last for dayssss with no chipping, which is a HUGE deal for me! Don't be fooled, you can use ANY nail polish with this set and just use the activator as a base. Makes ANY nail polish a gel polish. A MUST HAVE!!

I bought this because I needed something that would really strengthen my nails. After I put 2 coats on, I had a cleaning job, harsh cleansers, hard work...it lasted! No chips, dings, broken nails! I would agree with the previous post, 3 coats are better. 3 days later, the color is still great. The cost is very minimal for a great product.

I used this product for the first time and I was very happy with the results. I was nervous due to all of the negative reviews. But, personally I found that as long as the directions are followed (quite easy to do...) the process goes smoothly, very quickly, and the results are great! There was no clumping that many reviewers complained about and this dried in less than five minutes. I did get the nail polish and applicator stuff on the edge of my nails, and it hardened. All I did was gently file it away. Very simple!

I had no problems with this product, but found that 3 coats was better than the recommended 2 coats. It goes on evenly and did not chip for me at all. Lasts about 2 weeks if you are gentle with your nails, just like shellac. I found the texture and consistency of this to be similar to shellac nails when dry. For the money I paid for this system, I am pleased.

I have been going to the salon and getting the gel manicures paying $30.00 a trip...love the gel polish but i always end up picking it off. I found this product and thought Id give it a try...my first time appling was not good BUT i did not read the instructions through...took polish off with the pad remover (easy easy removal) and tried a second time. Looks great...no streaking, very shiny...looks just like what I get at Salon. Def going to get more colors!!

The product was easy to use, but have to be careful to apply thin coats. Seems to chip easily. Other than that, love this product.
