This stuff was horrible. I felt and looked like I had wax in my hair. Made it oily and smelled horrible. I could not wait for the day to be over to wash it out.

I wanted a leave in conditioner that was silicone, sulfate, and paraben free. This was not a good choice for me. Maybe, I'm not supposed to use a blow dryer. As I was drying my hair I had a lot of breakage. My bathroom counter was full of hair.

I bought a bottle then returned it for another because I thought the sprayer was faulty. Wrong it sprays all over the place. Most on your face, clothes, walls and floor. Not very much on my hair. The solution is ok but not worth the mess.

I bought this product to try as I was looking for a new product for my curly hair. I read/watched reviews on this product line and all were good. I was not impressed at all. When using this, my hair ended up looking like I was a 4 year old with really curly hair and my mom didn't put any product in my hair. It was frizzy, the curls were not nice looking at all and my hair was super fluffy. I did not use the shampoo and conditioner from this line with this, but honestly you shouldn't have to for the product to work. The only good thing about this is the scent. It smells like limes.

I tried this product on the advice of a store clerk, he was very nice. I was told its made by folk w/ curly hair for curly hair. AWESOME...not so much!! It does smell good and for the fact that it severely weighs your hair down, I spose it does fight the frizz factor. But, it did weigh my hair down, was not soft to the touch in any good way and zero shine (which I have even without product)-it felt like there was a film left on my hair, almost as if I put lotion in it. definately not good. I was advised to use it alone first and then try it with another product of the same line together, they were to make magic happen...each was so heavy on my hair that I cannot imagine combining the two. Sorry, it was worth a try, but I will not buy it again, I returned both after a single use. =o'

I have 3a curls and I really wanted to like this product, but unfortunately it's not for me. Upon applying it on dry hair, it left a sticky residue. It made me not even want to touch my hair!! I was outside all day on a humid day and my hair looked frizzier and drier than ever. The next time i used it , i applied it on wet hair before adding gel because the directions said it can be applied on wet or dry hair. This was a little better at first, but as the day went on, i got the same results as before. I was very disappointed in this product. It didn't do anything it claimed to do for my hair.

This product does make my very curly hair shiny - but the fragrance is just TOO STRONG! I felt self conscious that I was overpowering the room with the too sweet smell.

I think the whole Devacurl "thing" is a bunch of hype. Pretty much everything I purchased has been returned if I still had the receipt. Didn't have the receipt for this so I threw it in the trash. I only did a couple of sprays and it made my washed hair feel like it hadn't been washed in a week...all their products are like that as far as I can tell...it just made my hair feel gross and it looked even more frizzy than before I put it on. Might as well get some crisco and lemon juice..put it in a bottle and call it devacurl. Oh and it's overpriced.
