I had never heard of this before, but now I am an Almay fan for life. I found this at a supermarket, and there was a sample for people to try it out. I rubbed on the back of my hand and watched the redness disappear. This is the greatest make up product ever made. This primer hides redness on the face, brightens the skin, and hydrates it. If you have dry skin, you can rest assured this will do wonders for your skin. It will keep it hydrated, won't cause breakouts or flakes. It works well hiding redness from breakouts also.

Even when I'm not wearing foundation, I like to use my Almay primer on top of my moisturizer. I find that it locks in moisture and keeps my dry itchy skin feeling hydrated, smooth, and comfortable all day. Plus, a little goes a long way! It spreads evenly over my skin and keeps my foundation in tact all day long. No breakout either! LOVE LOVE LOVE you Almay for making this incredible product at such a great price!!!!!!!

The only other primer that doesnt break me out is Tarte. But this one is better price and more quantity. It seems to have a bad-almost fishy smell... not sure if that is normal or if my bottle was bad. It isn't overwhelming, but noticeable.

My aging skin is blotchy. Almay's Smart Shade primer evens out my skin's tones. I can use my regular moisturizer and the primer without looking shiny. The price is right, too!

I love Almay products for my skin is very sensitive. I wanted to try something new for my primer and decided to try this. It works great, applies easily and does not feel heavy. I have noticed that my makeup stays on longer too. The only complaint I have it that the initial smell when applying it is horrible. It smells rotten, but does not stay with you; it quickly disappears.
