This was a very pigment dense, drying foundation. If you have oily skin it may work well for you, if you have dry skin (like I do) this is DEFINITELY not the product for you. Definitely full coverage though.

I ended up returning this product after trying it once becuase the clay formula is very cakey looking when applied. Also feels heavy on the face. I live in Florida, so that's a big no-no especially in summer months!

I liked the full coverage, but that was about it. After waering for a little while it settled into lines and looked like i had "cracks" on the sides of my mouth. The color range is poor and my best match which was light/medium ended up turning orange after about an hour of wear. Im actually on my way back to Ulta to return!

I really wanted to love this foundation. After reading countless rave reviews I decided to give it a shot. It didn't go on very smoothly, but after some extra buffing with the brush I figured it out. At first it looked so so. But after an hour my skin, which is normally very oily, looked like it was so dry that it was peeling. It settled into every pore and line and just did not flatter my skin whatsoever. I will say it kept me shine free throughout the bulk of the day, which no other foundation has been able to do for me. I tried it for a few days, but I ended up returning it as it just made me look awful. Back to searching for that perfect foundation!

I have sensitive/acne prone/dry skin and an ULTA employee steered me towards this Tarte foundation. It went on great, had great coverage and was lightweight. However, after a few hours, my skin looked very dry and patchy, and became tighter and itchy. It feels like the makeup soaked any and all moisture out of my face.

This just didn't work with my skin type. After about an hour, my skin had absorbed it and looked as though I had not foundation on at all.

I have very oily skin and got a sample of this foundation and fell in love with it! Went out and bought it a week later. However, during my first use I may have had a few dry patches around my chin and lip area. I moisturized of course and then applied this foundation. Unfortunately, it was flaking off my skin on the dry patches and also oddly around my eyes too! It was awful! I was so disappointed since I had tried the sample and loved it.. My skin must have been more hydrated during that time... I'm not sure? But if I am going to spend that much money on a foundation, I would like to be able to use it year round. I decided to return it... I don't want to have a second foundation for the days my skin decides to be dry etc. but if you have overall oily skin then this foundation is perfect for you. It will stay matte all day and won't get shiny. Hope you have a better experience with it then I did!

I wasn't impressed with this foundation at all. I was told that with the coverage on this foundation that I would even be able to go swimming without this coming off. As soon as I had sweat on my face, this foundation smudged off. I personally would not reccommend this to anyone.

I used a foundation brush to apply and used my fingertips. Both still didn't give me a smooth even coverage. Not thrilled with this natural product.

was difficult to apply, coverage was thick and it was very hard to blend, as it seemed to dry out quickly. Made all the line and flakes show -not good! I have super oily skin and it was too drying, even for me!

I was really hoping that this product would be as amazing as it sounds. It's not. It's cake-y, it dries out, and it is really disappointing. Maybe it's my skin type (dry), but I was hoping that the clay would moisturize and make my skin glow (it doesn't). When I put powder on top, it crumbles and cracks. It's pretty much a mess!
