I don't always write reviews for products but when I do (most interesting man in the world pose), it's for a reason. I'm not a girly girl and don't use cosmetics of any kind very often but I do love painting my nails. I have tried a number of nail polishes in different brands trying to find the one that balances longevity and chip-resistant. This one is the only one that lasts thru showers, dish washing and my laborious job approx at least 1 hour after drying! It usually lasts a couple of weeks for me. I usually do 2 regular coats with plenty of drying in between each and then a final third coat where I use the magnet. I do give it extra time to dry even though it dries pretty fast on its own. It's definitely my all time favorite nail polish. I always get compliments on how cool the effect looks :)

If you follow the directions it works well. When the directions say to do a base coat they mean in the magnetic nail polish, using a different nail polish as the base coat causes the polish to not work as well. Also important: wait till the first coat is completely dry before doing the second coat.

The color actually improves once you use the magnet on it. I've been thinking about trying this for a while and now that I have, I should have tried it earlier. I love this polish!

It took a few tries to get the magnetic placement right, but now it is easy to do. Looks very dramatc and I always get compliments. I used Sally Hansen double duty as base and topcoat and it lasted a week even with frequent hand washing. I can't wait to try the copper one!

My aunt gave me some of this try for the first time yesterday and I absolutely LOVE it! The polish dried fast which was great and the magnetic effect looks amazing! I had no problems getting this to work and look great. I would definitely recommend this.

I have tried many of these magnetic nail polishes and have had NO results, but FINALLY I went with this inexpensive Sally Hansen and viola! The purple is really very nice. I'm an accountant and at this time of the year my hands come into play pointing at things for the clients to read. This polish not only turned out just as pictured, but I get many compliments on it. I did put a clear top coat on when I was done, and it made the color pop. It lasts all week and I'm brutal on my hands! When they say to put the second coat on thick - do it! I was concerned that it would be too thick and take forever to dry, but that is NOT that case. So follow the instructions to the letter and this stuff works!!

When first using this nail polish, I sealed it with Sally Hansen No Chip Top Coat. It came off in chunks before the end of the day. I was unhappy with this. I decided to try a different top coat and it worked PERFECTLY. I used Sally Hansen Hardener and the nail polish has lasted for 12 days so far. I'm very impressed and I love the way the magnet makes the polish look. I have this polish in three different shades and I love them all. The polish dries really fast - another perk!

I always have a beautiful turnout with my nails. I use ONE coat and hold the magnet to it while the polish is still wet. ONE coat NOT two like the instructions say

I absolutely love this polish! It looks like a professional air-brush from the salon. And I personally have no problems with the polish chipping or fading. I take a shower every day, do dishes and type on a keyboard all day long; and for me the polish will last at least a week.
