My skin loves this! At age 40, my skin is STILL oily & acne prone - unfortunately, it is also starting to wrinkle. Up until now, I've had a hard time finding a good moisturizer that doesn't break me out or make my face look like an oil slick. This does the trick. It seems to balance my skin & leaves it glowing, not greasy. It does not cause pimples, but when my hormones kick in & I do get a pimple (these by the way are smaller in size since I started using this) I apply the oil directly to the pimple & it clears them up better than any acne medicine I've used. It also plumps my skin so fine lines and pores are less noticeable. The bottle is huge and it only takes a few drops. The bottle will probably last close to a year. I don't know if this is for everyone, but it is definitely worth a try.

i never write reviews, but i have to for this - this product is so wonderful, i can't even begin! i have been using retin-A for years and have been struggling with the conundrum that is having both oily and insanely dry flakey skin at the same time - with this face oil, my oil production has lessened, my dry flakey spots are no more, and my redness has calmed down significantly. i use it twice daily before my moisturizers, and sometimes i go without the moisturizers if traveling. works awesome under make up. highly highly recommend!!

This product has quickly become a staple in my routine.i use it on my dark under eye circles and it has noticeably made them lighter.i also use it on acne scarring and it's healing that as well!one thing that really made me love it was when I recently got a sinus infection, my nose was so sore, cracked skin, bleeding.it hurt SO badly, I was so afraid to put anything on it(my normal moisturizer or face wash), but decided I would give this stuff a go--my nose went from being a total sensitive mess, to all healed up and back to normal in two days!!!i don't think I will ever be going without this stuff!!and with summer approaching I see many more uses for this product and it's soothing abilities :)

I very rarely leave reviews, but the maracuja line by Tarte is amazing, and this oil is the star of the show! I replaced my night cream with this product. I use 3 drops (that's it!) on my face and neck at night after using a gentle cleanser. When I wake up in the morning my skin is soft, supple, and GLOWING. I live in a very dry region, so I also add 1 drop to my moisturizer and apply after cleansing in the morning. I use powder foundation and this keeps the foundation from settling into fine lines or looking too dry. It keeps me looking bright and beautiful all day! I absolutely love it! Definitely give this a try. Don't be afraid if you have acne prone skin. I have combination skin - dry cheeks & nose but an oily and very acne-prone t-zone on my chin and forehead. This oil hasn't made me breakout and has actually kept my skin clearer than it usually is. One word of advice - if you are going to use a liquid foundation, I would not recommend applying this in the morning. You'll probably wind up a little *too* dewey. Overall, I adore this product. It seems expensive, but the applicator is literally a dropper - that's how little you use! A little goes a long way and this bottle, while expensive at first, will last you a very long time! Not to mention, it will take the place of your night cream, which you would have to use much more of anyway.

I received a sample of this oil after purchasing another Tarte product. I knew nothing about it, so I did a bit of research before trying it. I was intrigued and decided it was worth a shot- if it didn't work, I wasn't out anything, and if it did, yay new product. Keep in mind, however, I was not about to be easily impressed. I wanted to see results that others around me were commenting on. I've been using the oil for about a month now and have been seeing visible results for a few weeks. My skin is brighter and clearer. The oil does not irritate my acne, which is fabulous. Most impressive of all, the oil has actually started fading the appearance of acne scarring on my cheeks. This particular facet of improvement has been so marked that my family has commented. None of them knew I was using the oil. Lastly, I have been using the oil under my makeup and have found that it does not lead to a greasy feeling or result in a shiny face. For me, this product is worth the price. I have not even really made a dent in the sample- a full sized bottle should last me 2-3 months at the least, and it's very likely I'll see month 4. With the results I've been having, I am willing to pay the price. Notes on how I use the oil: I primarily use it under my makeup during the day, though I occasionally use it after washing my face as well. I do use another moisturizer at night, one that is heavier, as I find during the winter my face is often far too dry for the oil alone.

My mom actually recommended this to me about a month ago and I finally decided to try it. I have combination, acne prone skin with an uneven texture. I was nervous to put oil on my skin because I thought it would break me out more but infact its done the opposite. My skin seems clearer after just one week of use. The oil sinks right in to your skin and doesnt feel greasy at all. I wear 4 drops at night after washing my face and in the morning I wear just 2 drops under my make up and I use nothing else. This stuff is great and my skin is so hydrated and is starting to smooth out. Its crazy! I'm hoping the results just keep getting better. Its a little pricey which would be my only con but I still give this 5 stars because it's worth the $$.

I have weird skin. T-zone, yet extremely dry around nose and mouth. Plus rosacea on cheeks and chin. I was looking for a moisturizer to tackle ALL these issues--and this oil does. My rosacea is looking much better, my face is softer, flaky spots getting better, and I feel more even-toned. My routine: wash with Purity Made Simple and Clarisonic at night. Apply the eye cream from this line and then 3-4 drops of the Maracuja Oil, concentrating around dry stops but gently work in all over face. Morning: rinse with water but DO NOT WASH WITH SOAP. I'm realizing that my skin looks best without makeup right when I wake up--after Maracuja Oil has fully absorbed into skin. Feels great, too. Washing in the morning just rouses my rosacea and strips the good stuff the oil did at night. The smell takes some getting used to--yes! But it's all natural. It's an oil. If you're gonna be crunchy and get a natural product that really works instead of chemicals, you can't complain about the smell (no perfumes=no irritants).

Let me just tell you i have acne prone skin, its never been clear i get red blemishes and i have very uneven skin tone, i never wouldof dreamed of putting a straight oil on my face, i saw on youtube my fav girl to watch say how she applied this to her hand and walked around the store to see what the hype was and she fell in love, so me being skeptical i decided to do the same, let me tell you not even 5 mins went by and huge different my skin was brighter!! yes brighter in 5 mins! and soft i couldn't believe it i went right back over and grabbed it , i since then have applied it to my hands and face, i had a small fine line that i hated well 3 days later its GONE!!! GONE! are you kidding me i was considering botox!!! none the less my face is now more even its brighter and my acne has diminished! i get one or two every tom(time of the month) but by putting the oil there gone faster with no scaring!!! if your like me and a huge skeptic! try it in a sample! yourll love it!

This product is awesome! I sampled it a few times to make sure, and I don't know what it is about it but I LOVE it! I've noticed my skin feels brighter and it's helping to even out my redness and dry spots without breaking me out! I was hesitant at first, but this is definitely worth a try...and it will last! (I also use it in the morning too giving it 5-10 min to absorb before make up).

I have very sensitive, acne, oily skin and I'm on a lot of medicine for my skin with this stuff I don't even need my RX creams my skin has never looked better! I have already bought full sized bottle.
