Other than doing a professional spray tan, I haven't touched self tanners in 8 years after having a bad, streaky experience with a self spray. I wanted to try it again, so based on reviews I bought TanTowels and I am VERY impressed! Within 4 hours I was impressed by my natural, EVEN tan! One wipe covered my whole body. The application process was very easy (I looked up videos on YouTube just to be sure). This will not get you Hawaii dark, but rather "middle summer" tan. I have medium fair skin with more olive tones and I'm not orange at all. The smell is like any other self tanner and I wasn't expecting to smell like an orange. I would recommend for a novice self tanner like myself!

I first used it and did not have any gloves on and I did have a very very slight color on the palms of my hand...nothing that anyone would ever notice at all. I have used self tanning lotions before and I love this product! It sees to adapt to your skin color to give you a natural look to what looks best on you! Its has very little to almost no order at all and the order that is there is not unpleasant at all.

Loved how easy it was to use. The cloths are colorless and the product was clear. It dried quickly and developed into a lovely, natural looking tan in a few hours. I was able to do my face, legs, chest, and arms with one cloth. I was going to a wedding the next day so I just wanted to do the areas not covered by my dress. If it were summer and I was getting ready for bathing suit season, I would probably use two. At first I was shocked by the cost, but after using it, I feel it was well worth it. A trip to the tanning bed would have been at least 5 dollars, and this was even, fast, no burn, and easy.

Tan towels are by far the best self tanning product I've found on the market. They're easy, not messy, completely effective and perfect for in-between air brush sessions at the salon. You could definitely use them regulary and skip the air brushing altogether if you can reach between your shoulder blades.

I got these cause another brand that I was using was so much more money! Well I have been using these now and will not go back to the other brand. The color is so natural and I don't feel like I need to shower the next morning if I don't want to. These are so fool proof! You can use them anytime like right after a shower and your dry or at night when your getting ready for bed. Just open up the package unfold the cloth and it's big, start with the top of your legs and work in a circular motion. Try to work quickly and do the top of your hands , feet and face last. My husband couldn't believe how natural it looks and I'm very fair!

I absolutely love this product. I am always looking for spray tans/ self tanners. I had my doubts about it streaking but it didn't at all!! From now on I will never use another streaky self tanning lotion again. I would recommend this product to anyone!

It is a litle pricey but worth it. I use it all summer long. I get a spray tan about 2 or 3 times a summer for special occasions and the tan towels keep me healthy looking for the rest of the season.

These towels were recommended to me- after my intial sticker shock I'm very pleased. They have a light citrusy smell instead of yuck self tanner & seemed to dry really quickly. I used the Loreal spray tanner the day before (ick smell, longer dry time than you think but good color) and then used these the next night to smooth out any streaks (which there weren't if you let the Loreal dry). Pretty natural color, I fooled many people into thinking i'd been tanning when I started out fishbelly green. Two weeks later I still have a reasonable color left. They're a good size although I suggest beginning on all your pieces that will be showing first as I wish they were a wee bit bigger. I think hairspray reacted to it as I ended up with an easily concealled spot on my forehead but that could be the product mixing or my friend's cheap hairspray just beware. Loved them- I'll be saving them for special occasions (or other self tan disaster cleanup) because of the price but otherwise awesome.
