I absolutely love Smashbox products. Everything about them is great. You can use all three colors to make a day look but change them up to make a night look. It is sparkly but if thats what you like then this is a good product. It looks good with all types of liners and mascaras!

I love that there are several colors in one pot. You can really make so many different color combinations and they all blend so beautifully together yet you don't have multiple containers open. I wet an eyeliner brush and use the darkest color for my eyeliner as well. The colors are highly pigmented so you don't need much on the applicator for it to show up. I have used a lot of different eye shadow brands and was a make-up artist for about 8 years and I am so happy that I found these wonderful eye shadows! I can't wait to get more colors. They are beautiful!

You can use these color pencils as bases to get eyeshadows to stick for longer wear, but may still crease after 6 hours even with an eye primer.

I love this set!!! Mom gave me hers as a hand-me-down, and I just bought myself a new pallet. It's great for any skin tone; blends great and can be mixed with other shimmery shadows without overpowering.

I was looking for a affordable, but bright yellow eyeshadow to try the currently popular daffodil runway eye look and this one was perfect! Covergirl has a yellow-gold color that didn't really match the tone I wanted, but for about the same price NYX had this little guy! The color was super pigmented and nice. The shade of yellow was bright, but inviting at the same time. Made the look very wearable. It was my first NYX shadow purchase and I might go back for more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I love this stuff! I have been using it for years and I keep repurchasing it because it's a wonderful look. When I work I like to have a natural/neutral look going on and this is perfect (the brown quad). I pair it with NYX brown eyeliner and some black mascara and I'm good to go. :-)

I always use these as colored eye shadow bases because they help make the color more intense and help the shadow stick. If used alone, or if applied too thick, it will crease. i put a thin layer on my lid, blend it out, then apply my eyeshadow over it. love these!!!
