At first I was like wow, this is really going to work well on my acne prone skin. I am a big fan of tarte products, but definately not one of their foundations. The amazonian clay one was really cakey, and thick. This one is a bit more liquidy but still cakes and makes my pores appear 100 times larger, also it streaks a lot.

I bought this on sale for one third of the regular price and even with such a deep discount, I still don't think the foundation is worth purchasing. Here are a couple of PROS... -Goes on evenly and easy to blend -Doesn't oxidize (light is great for fair skintones) Here are all the CONS... -Hard to build up even though I only have minimal redness -Stays on for about 2-3 hours before you have to reapply -It's not noncomedogenic and will clog pores if you're acne-prone So overall, even at one third of the cost, I'd rather buy something different. And I can't imagine spending full price on this item as there's nothing special about it to make it so expensive. You're better of buying a high-end brand.

I have combination skin and this foundation made me very oily in certain areas. I suspected it might because when a product claims to make your skin luminous that sometimes means oily. It is very light weight though which is nice but it does not cover old acne scars or any other discolorations.

I bought this after hearing that this was a "dupe" for a popular brand's pricey foundation. For me and my skin, this was not the case. For the first hour I wore it, I really liked it. Light coverage that is build-able, dewy finish, easy to apply. Then things took a turn for the worse. I stepped outside, and the foundation started to melt into my face. Things got oily really, really fast, and then my face started burning. I have combination skin, that's a little more on the oily side-this only exacerbated it. I really wanted to love this foundation. It's a great price, but for me it didn't work. Maybe on someone with drier skin. I'm trying a different foundation from this brand though. I hope for the best!

I have super oliy skin and I am always on the search for products to help control the shine. This one just didn't do it. It seemed to be a bit heavy for shine control.

Well the foundation is okay. Its has good pigmentation and spreads well but it leaves you very shiny and its quite oily I guess its what those with dry skin need. I always set it with a powder. ALWAYS. And after a while in the sun I felt as if my face was melting off. Oh my. I didnt feel confident without touching it up. and the excessive oil kinda broke me out. If youre willing to go through the hassle of setting it with lots of powder and frequent touch ups on the go, be my guest.

I switched to this liquid foundation from Bareminerals, so I might be a little biased. BUT with that said, this product leaves my skin shiny and greasy looking within one hour of putting it on. I use a translucent powder to set it, which ends up sliding off my face and I look like I have no makeup on by 10 am. Not my favorite foundation. Back to Bareminerals I go!

It's alright because it's lightweight and blends well. However, it BURNED my skin. Also, it smells HORRIBLE, I can't stand it.

I bought this foundation because I saw the mousse in a can and thought that the "airbrush" look it mentions on the packaging would be great. When I used a fluffy brush and pumped it once on my hand. It was really oily. Once I applied it on my face it looked like I had dipped my face in a tub of grease. I though maybe it needed to dry up but even after ten minutes, it still looked very oily. I set it with some setting powder and went out. in about three hours, my foundation was no longer there. Even with setting powder it came right off the coverage instantly faded. And I have combination skin. I also began breaking out all over my forhead and chin. I never break out. I was really dissapointed. Thank goodness I got this on sale.

The coverage is nice but I HATE how greasy this product makes my skin look. I have an oily skin so I'm thinking that it might be better for someone with dry skin. If I lightly touch my face I can bring my hand away with a bunch of make up on it, this stuff does NOT stay on. Seriously, if you have oily skin, DO NOT get this. It will make you look sweaty and greasy. On top of all that, my face is breaking out in small zits all over! This was a total waste of my money.

Whenever I put it on and set it with a powder my face feels cakey and it doesn't apply smoothly enough. Its not a flawless finish, but maybe if you have dry skin it would be more beneficial for you. Stay away from it if you have oily/combination skin. I just don't understand how its a photo foundation when it doesn't set with a matte finish.

I thought that wearing this under my foundation would help to control the oil and shine that I get because of my naturally oily skin, but it didn't. I see no difference at all in how often my face gets oily. This might work for someone whose skin is not as oily as mine, but it does not work for me. It also contains lots of parabens and other ingredients that I'm not okay with putting on my face.

I faithfully use Tarte Products, and love their Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer. I was hoping that the consistency and application would be similar as this great product. However, the Smooth Operator Tinted Moisturizer is a bit to creamy,and NO I did not use my regular moisturizer with this product I washed and only applied this with both a foundation brush and by hand and the results were the same. I needless to say returned the item, Hope they make a larger size of the Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer I will just use that as my foundation.

Tried with several different foundations including China Doll, face was very shiney within 2 hours or less. Would be excellent for normal or dry skin
