I love this compact, it is so much easier to use and no more spilling/wasting loose powder all over the counter. The color does run lighter than the powder, so be sure to get a color match at the store before ordering. I normally wear "fairly medium" in the loose powder, and in the Ready Foundation I wear "medium tan" Also, you do not apply in circles as in the powder, you just apply in long soft strokes. I suggest buying the heavenly applicator brush, it truly does feel heavenly on your face and I don't think the bristle brushes would work well with this product.

After pretty much trying every foundation out there, I finally found the perfect one. I tried Pur Minerals after my dermatologist suggested that I only use a mineral foundation. This is one of the only liquid mineral foundations I found. It is extremely long-lasting and makes my skin look flawless. It can look a litte cakeywhen you first apply it, but, after a few minutes it really sets in and looks like a second skin. The only thing that I would change is that it does leave a little bit of shine, but that is easily solved with some translucent powder over it.

I use the #3 during the Cooler months and got #4 for when I am tan. There is a dramatic difference between the two. It will be perfect when I've got a bit more color. For now I blend a little of each together. It really truly stays on all day long! My only gripe is the price.

I don't usually buy any face-products (non-lips or eyes) that isn't neutrogena because I have: sensitive skin, bad acne, combination oily/dry skin....the laundry list or skin issues, so my dermatologist recommended to keep on a one-brand regiment and preferably neutrogena. needless to say, I was reluctant to buy a face product outside of this regiment, especially one that was so expensive....but let me just say that is my ONLY GRIPE! I LOVE this product, I used it for my sister's wedding day (I bought a handful of Stila products for her wedding outside of my neutrogena habit because I wanted my makeup to look nice for pictures...) and let me tell you it was absolutely worth the money. it covered my acne and dark spots amazingly and actually after I cleaned off the make up and slept, I woke up the next day and some of my acne had cleared up! not sure if it was related to this awesome balm or not, but usually with make-up I wake up with little patches of break outs I didn't have the day before. it's light, it goes on matte, and it doesn't budge all day...and it covers acne and darkness under the eyes! (I'm making myself sound like a troll, yeesh...not a troll, but this stuff rocks!)

Goes on very smooth, and has not caused any break-outs. It is very lightweight, so it does not feel like you are wearing make-up. I am a new user, and so far, I have been thrilled with the product.

I really like this powder. I like that it has SPF and I like the light coverage. It's so easy to apply and your skin looks even immediately after you put it on. It's a bit on the pricey side , but I have sensitive skin and this product doesn't give me any problems at all so it's worth the money to me.
