I love, love, love this mineral powder. I have tried Bare Minerals, which was my go-to powder until I was introduced to Halo. It is far more moisturizing for my seasoned (over 40) skin and looks amazing. I do not use it under the eye area. Instead, I apply moisturizer, small amount of concealer & gently dust loose powder under the eye area. I have found this to work best v. using mineral powders of any kind, because they will settle in to fine lines in the eye area. Try it, you will LOVE IT!! Remember, Ulta stands behind their products.

I've been looking for a good liquid foundation that looks natural, feels good on, lasts all day and doesn't break me out. This is it! The little bit of acne I have is actually getting better since using this. I bought the poreless 12hr primer and micrinized finish powder too. I'm hooked on this brand. Have worn BE for years but like this so much better.

I have been a Bare Essentuals foundation user for a couple of years, but I recently switched to this makeup because of color matching issues. I use this product as a foundation after moisturizing. You can also use it as a concealer if you apply it with a concealer brush. It gives you good coverage without really making you look like you have a lot of makeup on, and gives your skin a hint of a fresh glow. I don't really like the sifter top that comes with it, so I just popped that part off the container. Now I just dip my powder brush directly into the minerals and shake off the excess before applying. It makes it a lot easier to use, in my opinion. It's also about half the cost of Bare Minerals, so I think I'm sticking with this product.

I just started using bareMinerals half a year ago. When I used other make up it felt like it was just caked on my skin. Now my skin feels like it can breathe and its so smooth and touchable with bare minerals. The mineral veil makes everything blend together so well.

The only bad thing is the product does settle after about 12 hours of wear. I just wipe off, which is easy to do. Reapplying isn't usually necessary, except in humid climates or after dancing!
