I have very straight hair, color treated, with an oily scalp. This shampoo did not feel like it was cleaning my scalp well, but does seem to protect the color. I live in the humid south and my hair seemed limp after use. When I use my Rusk product with the same conditioner I used with this shampoo, my hair maintained body all day regardless of humidity. You hair, environment and water type may make a difference.

this product does leave a nice color, but if you're fair - skinned, be careful around your part - it did stain my scalp slightly. also, the smell, for me, was horrible. it smells like clay, but worse, and stronger. as others have said, it's runny, so be aware. i will use it again,when my hair color fades, but i do wish it smelled better!

I got this as a rewards bonus; it conditions my hair enough that I can manage it, but I don't think I will buy it. I haven't noticed any "highlighting" or extra "vibrance" in my ginger locks, but it doesn't damage my hair.
