Setting is little weak but it is not big problem, The problem was the smell and hard to using for hair.

I usually use Redken hardware 16 but there wasn't any available so I tried this. No as good of a hold as the hardware but does the job.

I purchased this product in hopes of replacing the Artec Textureline Material product that had been discontinued. I was dissapointed. While this product bills itself as a wax, it's more like a cream. I found I had to use much more product in my hair, and it only worked well when my hair is very damp. I use it to still my short hair cut and add texture/molds to it. Nothing fancy, just keeping my short, thick hair from sticking out.

Not as good as discontinued Hardware 16. Hold is not as good and prefer unscented product.

My boyfriend bought this product to replace another similar pomade the product that was discontinued. His biggest problem is the product stays in his hair forever and has a sticky, residue like feel.

A daily wash for my husband (although I did try it to see if it tingled like his American Crew tea tree, which feels awesome). He loves my Redkin All Soft but he wanted a 'manly' version for himself and I wanted him to stop using all of my shampoo/conditioner, so he tried this. Sales clerk said her husband loved this product and that it tingles the scalp. Found out that the sales clerk either A. Doesn't know her product or B. Will say anything to make a sale. As always, Redkin still made a great product, but was not what we were looking for. It misses the tingle factor. Based on the fact that it was the reps fault we were unhappy, I'm still rating this as a 'would recommend'.

Maybe because I have wave/curl to my hair, this doen't seem to add enough stiffness to hold the chunky messy look I'm trying to achieve

He has not used this often enough to say if it works as a wave styler. But it seems to work better than most.
