Hi, my name is Amanda and I am an O.P.I. addict. I always tell myself that I won't buy more, but then a shade like O.P.I.'s "Lights of Emerald City" appears and I think HOW CAN I NOT HAVE THIS NAIL POLISH IN MY LIFE! I've only worn it once so far, and got tons of compliments, from my 6 year old niece, up to the 95 year old women I work for. I think this would be an amazing top coat over a nude base. And so adorable for a bride on her wedding day. I only applied two coats of this, no base coat, no top coat. Easy peasy. As with most glitter polishes with large embellishments, I probably left some nails goopier than others, so it really started to chip after the first day, but that's ok. I can't wait to try it over O.P.I.'s "Can't Find My Czechbook" - I just think it is going to be the most lovely spring manicure ever!

I love Butter London. I love the color, the thick consistency, and everything else about this polish. I tried one and became a life-long fan of this polish. I truly can't find other colors that quite match Butter London with the same large amount of polish in the bottle. My only qualm is it does chip a little bit after a week, but the color is so amazing and the thick application of color so gorgeous, I don't mind at all! It just means I get to paint my nails once a week!

My favorite color is gun metal, love this color and the brand. works well, however if you work with your hands like i do i recomend putting on a top clear coat to make the polish last longer

I never used to do my own nails because I hate to wait for them to dry. I have tons of cool colors that I love and wouldn't use them because I would mess them up some how in the drying process. Gel manicures were starting to get expensive so I just went Au Naturel for a while. My roommate turned me on to "to Dry for" and this stuff works. 10 min drying time (or less) and I'm out the door. PERFECT!

Butter has been my newest go to polish brand. I have "Tea with the queen", which is a very classy dark beige. "Teddy Girl",a pastel pink that is beautiful. "Lady Muck" which is a bluish grey and "Tart with a heart"a very subtle gold glitter polish, "Macbeth" a red-orange that is very shiny, "Black Jack", and "Pink Ribbon". They all go on very smoothly and when used with the top coat are very shiny. With Butter polishes, my manicures usually last about 5 days without tip wear/7 with. I am not really a fan of the Butter base coat, as I experienced some yellowing of the nail with it. I prefer the Illumasqua or Essie base coat. I would not really use Butter for nail art designs because the consistency is sort of on the runny side, especially compared to OPI or Essie. I experienced no problems with streaks or bubbles like I have with Essie polishes.
